My day is to cook a new recipe for today. So, I cooked "pork caldereta." It's a kind of stewed pork prepared with liver spread and tomato sauce. Carrots, potatoes, pineapple chunks, bell peppers, green peas, and seasonings can all be added. Most of the time, they use goat meat for this kind of dish. What is cooking at your place now?

That looks and sounds good, but you lost me on the liver spread, which I would just omit. But that looks like a perfect stew to me.

Liver spread is needed to complete the magic spell of this dish. I prefer to use pork or beef than goat's meat.

@porwest I can accept the liver spread, but not the liver per se.

This looks a lot like the Portuguese Caldeirada, I prefer to use chicken or beef, but it's only because my husband does not eat pork.

Chicken and beef meat can also be used. Actually, it is adapted from Spanish. It was passed on during the Spanish era here.

I love it and the rest of the family. Actually, it comes from the Spanish style of cooking.

That sounds good. But I'll skip the liver spread.
