I really had to share this beautiful photo of the wild horses near the Current and Jack Forks River in Missouri in 2024, this year. This photo was taken by Cindy Dooley that lives there. Amazing capture! Do you have wild horses where you live? We do have them here in Colorado..they are magnificent creatures, wild and free.

@RebeccasFarm Wonderful photo.Thanks for sharing.This is the first time I have seen wild horses.They are not found here;as far as I know.I have not read about them either.

@Shivram59 Very rare can a wild horse be tamed..but it has been known to be done by horse whisperers as they call them.

Didn't realise there were still wild horses in the US. We have wild ponies here, but not quite the same thing, I think!

The only Wild Horses found in NJ comes from the song "Wild Horses" by the Rolling Stones..

@RebeccasFarm Yes, I would like to see them. But I wonder if they are aggressive. I think I would be afraid of them. They are big animals.

@RebeccasFarm Anything is possible. My parents said there were wild horses when we lived in Michigan.

Our wild horses are called 'brumbies' and we have them in some areas. They want to cull them from the high country over east and there is a lot of fuss about it.

There are wild horses on some of our beaches and mountains. I love horses, so beautiful. We have 2 that live around the corner from us, and I wave at them every time I go by them.

Wow..Beautiful Horses. When I drove a taxi, I had a lady from Colorado that belonged to some organization of saving the Wild Horses. Her and her husband owned a house here in FL as well. We kept in contact for a couple of years, but my computer went down and I lost contact with her. Everytime I see wild horses I wonder how she is doing. Sorry, just good memories. I love horses, my uncle had a horse named Topsy and my cousin would put me up on him bareback and lead me around...I was like 6 years old. I dated a guy who worked at the Trotting Track. He took care of a horse named Spicy Charlie...that was the prettiest horse. I used to hang out at the race track..had friends who worked in the bard area. of Keeneland. Those race horses are treated better than the humans who tend to them. Ok..back to reality. Thank you for letting me go back in time. Have a nice day!
