25 March - What I'm Thankful for Today

Good afternoon from rainy Green Bay, Wisconsin. The current temperature is 41 F.
It's been a non day today. I might be going through detox because of the lack of snow on the ground. There isn't any, or it's along the edges. In any case, I'm not as upbeat as I normally am. Still, I have a few things to be thankful for. You know me. 
I'm thankful for the seven hours of sleep I got last night. I went to bed really late: 10:30, so I wasn't up until 5:30 this morning. It felt like the day was half gone when I got up, but at least I got a good night's sleep.
I'm thankful I got my steps this morning. I met a few people in the hall and stopped to talk for a few minutes. That was good.
I'm thankful I got some reading done on a book I'm trying to finish so I can get rid of it. Some Christian authors just make me shake my head. But at least I got more of it read. This is the book written in second person.
I'm thankful for the time I could spend with you today. I always like seeing what you're doing in your world. Thanks for being a huge part of my life.

Yesterday I had a headache so not thankful for that, but thankful that it went away and it wasn't really bad. I'm also thankful that I got a phone call that I was waiting on.

I am thankful for the sunshine to dry out the yard, hoping to mow for the first time here at home tomorrow, before more rain moves in tomorrow evening and Wednesday. Then a dry Thursday so I can go mow again at the church. I already mowed there once a couple weeks ago.

Right now it's hard to be thankful when I couldn't see my husband and I am in excruciating pain from a muscle pull in my back. I'm thankful I'm alive I guess and that I will see my husband on Friday.

I am thankful my sister and her family are coming up here to get some stuff I have for them. My apartment is way too small to keep the things they want, and I’m getting antsy at the amount of things just sitting in my living room. I look forward to seeing them Saturday mostly, but also for my apartment to be less messy.
