Movie: Road House 2024

So again, Hollywood puts out a remake of an old movie because they can’t come up with any new ideas. This is yet another one that they remade and put a little twist to it so it’s not the same exact movie.
The movie was released March of 2024, yes just released this month on Amazon. It stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Daniela Melchior, Conor McGregor and Jessica Williams. The film runs 121 minutes and is rated R. Violence, and language is what makes this movie R rated.
If you seen the 1989 version you can guess what this one is about. Just a little different back story for the main character, Elwood Dalton. There is a lot more action in this version, though some of it is not very realistic and a bit over the top.
I wasn’t much of a fan of the original and didn’t find this one much better. I think if you like the first and don’t mind the additional fight scenes you might like this one.

I just watched it a couple nights ago. I am a huge fan of the original one, mostly because I am a HUGE fan of Sam Elliot. I wan't going to watch it because I am such a huge fan, but we were looking for something to watch and ended there. I will say, I really liked Conor McGregor, he was very over the top, but was by far the best character, everyone else was a Y-A-W-N. Movies, I really like, I watch again. I will definitely not be looking to watch this one again, it was very dull.

I am very forgiving when it comes to bad movies. I give the creator, director, actors, the benefit of the doubt and try to see the good in it. If it were not...
