I don’t use water bottles, but I have a large insulated cup that I use. It’s multipurpose: I can put hot tea in it on a cool morning, then ice for water (or tea or soda) in the heat of the day.

@FourWalls I had just bought a stainless steel water bottle and I love using it. I had been putting flavored sparkling water in it and I read that you aren't supposed to put any carbonated drinks in it. The carbonation supposedly ruins the lining. I also had been thinking of getting a second one so one can dry fully when I wash it.

@JESSY3236 I bought a thermos type stainless steel 32 oz mug for hot tea or coffee. It works so well that the drinks stay hot from morning until evening, which means I don't actually get to drink them. They are too hot. LOL The mug really works well. The other two are plastic insulated and they work much better for me as they don't stay too hot for too long.

My SIL puts carbonated drinks in hers. We just put water in ours and we just have one. I don't know if my husband washes it with every use. Have a good day.

I do, and wash it throughout the day. I do drink a Sprite in it.

I don't use one every day, but frequently.

I use rinsed out milk jugs for my water. I keep a one gallon jug of fresh water next to my recliner all the time. I don't have any actual water bottles. I have some plastic glasses with lids and straws. I don't let anyone use them for anything but water because it is too difficult to keep the straws clean. Anything other than water goes into other containers like cups and glasses.
