Do things get unbearably worse before they get better?

People have come to realize that sometimes things will have to be worst off before they start getting better and return to normal. Maybe this is true in most cases, but sometimes , situations will become unbearable and one has to make an alternative plan to get out of it to get better.

Yes;there is a adage in my mother tongue Hindi that says that the night is the darkest right before the dawn.

I believe this is true some of the time. I do wonder, though, if those unbearably worse things just make you feel like 'better' is better than it is. I'm not sure if that makes sense or if it is quite what I mean to say.

Sometimes when many bad things happens at the same time it is hard to keep positive thoughts in our mind but from my experience until now, always after many bad things happen in a row something good ends up happening. it is true that it takes some time until somehting good happens but when it happens we really feel relieved and we are able to try to live normally or almost normally again

Yes they do but sometimes they do not get better sadly.
We are a fine example of this here.
