Everything's Perfect

So, I think that is the new buzz word for customer service and sales people these days. This seems to be especially true in residential real estate, when anything you want is what they have. Ha, Ha. I heard her saying it on the phone to the caller several times and also when I was on the phone with her. @LindaOHio, also mentioned the overuse of the perfect word. I guess it replaced, have a nice day, and did you find everything you were looking for? Have you noticed any CSA buzzwords or phrases as of late? Oh, another one is "How can I help?"

I bet they would be really taken aback if you said, "NO, it is not perfect..only acceptable." . Poor CSA's. I guess they are hoping if they say everything is perfect, you will believe it!

@snowy22315 - I am usually very quiet, but I heard my husband saying "not perfect at all!".

I haven't noticed any overuse of 'perfect' here yet but I guess it will come - or maybe I could start the trend myself.

Having someone say "perfect" after every one of your responses is soooo annoying! Have a good day.

I don't let it bother me, I suspect it is just their schtick or they have been told to say that, likely the later.

I've noticed " I'm fine" being used a lot.

Yes this word, perfect, is really used alot more than it used to be and in some cases needs to be. I also find that the response, thanks so much is another one that is used as frequently and in place sometimes, as good bye is. Very little thought is often behind the words, and I think it is more of a habit to say than a true expression.

Yeah, it would be better to vary those expressions a bit.

Just don’t call me your dear. You don’t know me, you will forget me the moment I walk away….i am not your dear.
