Holy Week for Roman Catholics like me serves like a glue to some Catholic families because it keeps the family together while praying and repenting. To some families its also a way to bond , have some vacation after their devotion and the much needed rest to some working class because its also a break time for work so that everyone can prepare and pray.
To some families they bond by preparing food to family members and relatives. I know how to cook but Im.not an expert at some areas of cooking like desert. But I can learm.by watching cooking and baking shows.
I bought ripe papaya and mangoes as desert during the week. They were so ripe and sweet that my aunt suggested that if I can make it into a simple salad . And I said yes Aunt I will do it .
I peeled and cut the papaya and mango , mixed it all together in a pan or container and I poured some condensed milk , grated cheese and some parmessan , I stirred them well and placed them in the fridge.
After sometime , We can now all taste the desert. Its just a simple desert but the fruits used has a lot of positive rating.
Fellow lotters , have you tried ripe fruits that is placed in a fruit salad? What fruits did you use too?
