Good Saturday to you all, Wow, I missed a few days, been a little busy and have been playing some video games with my sone when I have had a little time. Seems that happens every month to me. I say to myself I am at least going to post or comment every day, and then it doesn’t happen. Oh well, such is life. Yesterday we had a whole day of rain again. So, I did what my friend said, if a have time and want to make some money I should drive for uber when it’s crappy weather outside, if I am not afraid of the weather. LOL. Well, I am not afraid of a little rain, so I thought why not let me try. So, I gave it a shot expecting to maybe do an hour or two and see if I was making enough to be worth it, just like I tried on the way home from work a few times now. I got on the road about 11:30am turning on the app right away and headed where there are a few restaurants right by each other. I figured more likely I would get an order that way and sure enough I got one as I was just getting there. My one to two hours turned into about three and a half hours. I stopped because I was getting tired and hungry. Bottom line is I was on the road for the three and a half and it says my earning was $68.47 That’s not enough for me to retire anytime soon but 19.56 an hour is not too bad either. Then let’s see but I used gas so, let’s figure that in roughly. It takes about $33 to fill my take and I used a little less than a quarter tank so we’ll make it easy and say I used $10 worth of gas still mean I profit $58.47 which would mean about $16.70 an hour. Now I don’t know what sort of experience or education you have or what job situations are like for you but me in this area, I’m not going to find a part time job that pays that much. Even if I did, they won’t let me make up my own hours and work when I want or just go home when I am hungry or tired. Overall, it was worth my time and it wasn’t raining that bad and I have a rain coat so I survived.
