Another finished fish painting.

This is my latest finished fish painting. I painted in the left hand fishes body with bright red, then when that was dry I added cerulean blue I think it was, mixed with white, and some vermilion, trying to replicate the shape on the reference photo. (I said trying!) I added a bit of darker blue on the fishes nose. I added a couple of small fins at the side in vermilion, but I got the one on the right too high, it's supposed to be lower. Then I added some blue to the right hand fish and some red and let that dry. When that was dry I added white and dark blue streaks and added more darker blue to the middle. I added a few darker stripes here and there. I added some rose and some vermilion to the bottom of the right hand fish, then I added a bit of blue on the right side. I added some white dots on the right side, and some more dark blue stripes just above that. Lastly I added bits of blue and red to the strip at the top, which I think is supposed to represent the top of the water, and then I added spots of the cerulean blue here and there. And then I called it finished. Now I've got to find another picture to paint again this Thursday. What are you lot getting up to today? I hope you are all well. Have a nice day.
