What I Ate Today - 4/2/24

Hey again everyone, how are you all doing? It's almost 11:30 PM here, so soon I will be getting some sleep. First though I wanted to share how I did today with food. Weigh in - Starting - 216.4 Yesterday - 213.6 Today - 212.8 As you can see, I did go down a little. I figured I would go up so that is not too bad. Blood sugars - Fasting - 91 What did I eat? Meal 1 - 2 pizza wraps (zero net carb tortillas, pizza sauce, pepperoni, cheese, canadian bacon) Meal 2 - 1 zero net carb tortilla, cheese, beef hot dog 1 serving doritos/cheetos mix Snack - 1 oreo (was feeling low, checked and my sugar was 71...had an oreo before it went any lower). Meal 3 - almost 4 oz deli turkey, 1 string cheese Macros for the day - Calories - 1,161 Protein - 56 Fat - 81 Carbs - 70 Fiber - 24 Net Carbs - 46 I did a bit better with my calories being closer to 1,200. However, protein was way too low. Should have switched my fat and protein grams. Yes carbs were too high...but if my sugars are okay and I am losing weight around 50 net might be okay. You did go down a little, that is better than not going down or gaining weight. May be tomorrow you will be down a little more.

Yes that is true. I know this works, my trouble is I always end up doing something that messes it all up. I really need to not allow any carb days, but then I will go into a depression and then I will just give up.

@MommyOfEli2013 It's very hard, I know that if I avoid some kind of food, I get into grumpy mood.

@LadyDuck It can be downright difficult! I am sure many are that way...at least being grumpy if you have to avoid something you enjoy. Having to give up carbs in general though is so depressing.

I think you're doing pretty well. I ate too much yesterday. When I get lonely I eat. I have to stop that.
