The Power Ball Jackpot is $1.30 billion. I just might have our housekeeper pick up some ticket for me and her.
Did you feel that 4.8 earthquake centered in New Jersey? The quake was felt from Washington, D.C. to New York City to Maine.
Outbreaks of bird flu have now been recorded in nearly every state. 1,116 outbreaks have been reported in every state but Hawaii and Louisiana. The first case ever of a human catching the bird flu from cows has been reported in Texas. Shortly before this, for the first time in the world, bird flu was found in cows in Texas, Kansas, New Mexico, Idaho, Michigan and Ohio. No human deaths have been reported so far.
What plans, if any, have you made to watch the solar eclipse on Monday?
Breakfast - PB&J sandwich
Lunch - Leftovers from Longhorn Steakhouse - Chicken tenders, mashed potatoes, ranch dressing, Brussels sprouts
Dessert/Snack - Chocolate Stampede cake from Longhorn
Dinner - PB&J sandwich

I should get a ticket, but I won't...
No plans for the eclipse.
Sounds like interesting meals, minus the veggies. of course.

Had Home made Hamburgers yesterday at the AmVets club. Looking for something healthy, but something Tom will actually eat for supper...I guess that would be Dinner..we call it supper down here. How could you NOT hear about the earthquake? LOL that is all I saw on the 24hr news stations. I loved when the one dude said In Calif we wouldn't have even gotten out of bed for an earthquake below a 6.0. LOL Have never eaten at Longhorns, but they are building one less than a mile from the house, so if they ever get it built we will be trying it out. The one on the beach is over 20 miles away. Too many good places to eat to travel that far. LOL And NO, will not be watching the Eclipse..saw one when I lived in Ohio back in the late 60's I think. I was at the pool, and some dude had a contraption that you could watch it through. Pretty neat...Moon Eclipses are better though..don't need anything to watch them. Have a good Day!

I was glad to move on from the LA area in California. Kept thinking there would be an earthquake. Where did you live in OH?

@LindaOHio Spencerville...about 12 miles west of Lima I think. Very small town. Went to Business college in Lima.

Oh, heck, I don’t know. Chicken taco salad, and some chicken and cheesy rice (I got a queso at Chuy’s earlier this week for donating to St. Jude’s, and I’ve been using it two tablespoons at a time in things like the infamous potato soup and rice). And apples!!!!!!!

Wow! The bird flu is attacking everything now.
Leftovers are always good.
Yesterday I had lamb with gravy over mashed potatoes for breakfast. I had egg salad sandwiches for lunch and a banana. Snacks include midnight dark chocolate ice cream and dc Dove Promise. No more leftovers.

I ate the last of my chicken tenders from Longhorn Steakhouse today. I won't be getting on the scale for several days.

@LindaOHio I don't blame you. We had a potluck at church yesterday. The scale surprised me. I gained, but not like I expected. That's a win.
