MRI is done!!!!

ok so this Brain Scan is done. I managed to not press the button to get me out even though I was so close at one point in doing so. The two guys who were taking the scan were just lovely and supportive. They knew I was nervous about being in the MRI machine - as many people are. I managed to stick it out for the whole 15-ish minutes. At one point I nearly hit the button because during one of the scans I could feel my head starting to get dizzy and faint-like. But I pushed through and....I was going to say "In no time" but that's not how it felt but eventually it was all done. I was trying hard to distract myself but I often caught myself feeling sad thinking about how I am even in this position right now. (being checked for MS). Trying hard to just be calm and hoping my brain scan results will be normal. And more than anything, hoping I can start going in the right direction to feeling my normal again. Thank you for those who are being so kind and supportive. Means a lot. Been a very long road. 6 months of hell so far. Hoping it to stop soon as possible.

I never had an MRI but I know it's loud and overall uncomfortable. Glad you managed to get it done despite the hardship.

@JESSY3236 I hope you won't have to be in a position where you will need one. I mean, you will survive but the experience isn't pleasant. Thank you very kindly.

I hope you do not have to wait too long for the results. That is the worst feeling ever. I hate MRI tests. I feel trapped, no matter what!

@VivaLaDani13 The waiting is hard. Try to think about other things when you can...I hope it's sooner rather than later, it's hard to wait it out, we dread it yet we want to know. And you are welcome!

@MarieCoyle Thank you. I wrote myself a list of things I want to do. So that will keep me very busy until then.

@grenery8 That's the best we can do really. Holding on and trying to be strong but of course, getting whatever support we need when we feel like we need it.

Sometimes I have to keep saying to myself 'I can do this' when I am faced with something really stressful. It seems silly but it really does seem to help.

@JudyEv It's not silly at all. It can really help get us through tough situations.
