Reasons for moving.

My children don't like to come to my home anymore becasue when their father was alive, he was a yeller and that's the memories that they have of this apartment. So, they say that if I want to see them more often, then I should sell the apartment and move to another neighborhood! I understand, but I don't know if the finances will work out.. . What do you think?

i understand them but it is not the house's fault and yes, as you said it, it is not that cheap. maybe you can visit them more?

I don't really have the time ot visit, I am the one who is working full time. Most of the kids don't work that much, and they have time to come, but they don't.

@lifecoachjerusalem I can understand they do not have pleasant memories there, but, they are suppose to come to see you and you have to do what is best for you. If you found the right place where do you want to move to?

I might like to go to the countryside, but I also like to be able to go anywhere without having to wait in the long traffic. .. It is a difficult decision. Maybe the neighborhood of Nachlaot, I could only get a very small apartment there though. . .

i'm sure they know that moving houses is not as simple as buying a new dress. why can't they pick you up and bring you to their house so you can spend time with each other even just for a few hours? or why can't you meet somewhere halfway like a park, a restaurant?

They didn’t put you in a very good position, did they? If that’s how they feel, perhaps they should pitch in some money to help that happen. It’s a very expensive time to move here, and it sounds that way there too.

I think that it is something you must be carefully evaluate before taking a final decision. How much you can get from that apartment and what you can buy spending the same or a little less.
