Have you heard of/read this book? It sounds like such fun. Who doesn't love fairies? The premise is that there was this lady, Lady Cottington, from 1800's England who had a unique interaction with fairies. She decided to press the fairies in a flower-pressing book. It is written by Terry Jones who was one of the Monty Python group. It is illustrated by Brian Froud. The fairies compete to strike the most outlandish pose. It is full of humor, art, and fantasy. These creatures are mischievous, smooshed, and flattened in different poses on the 64 pages of the book. The illustrations are inspired by the mystical Dartmoor region of England. You can google for more pictures of these little creatures. The picture is courtesy of Pinterest.

I haven't heard about this book , it sounds interesting. Does it have a story with plot and illustrations or it is mostly illustrations?

I think it is a short story of her encounters and then the pictures make up most of the book. Not totally sure.

@celticeagle It seems like the book is less than $10 in US , but here I could only find it on amazon and costs 3X more. Sometimes amazon has crazy prices for books!

I have always enjoyed speaking and reading about fairies:) This book goes into another concept, making fairies appear to be pressed out and grotesque.
