I get so ticked off.

In Manchester last week we travelled about a lot by tram and my poor wife never got to sit on any of the journeys. This wasn’t because there were no empty seats of course, there just weren’t any seats clean enough. I get it, but there are only so many precautions that can be taken in life. It irritates the life out of me when I see young people putting their feet up on bus seats - they just don’t see what the problem is. But I say nothing. Last week I also witnessed a woman doing nothing about her child throwing food down on the floor in a cafe. She just watched and said “Don’t do that”. Not the child’s fault. I’m getting all steamed up now about how people behave in public so I’ll stop now and think about nice things.

You are not alone. When I see children throwing food or being annoying I would not slap the child, but the mother.

Public behaviour seems to get worse as we age. Maybe it's us that's changing.

I don't blame you for getting steamed up over people's behaviors. They are atrocious. I certainly would never have raised my children to act like that. Try and have a good day.

you can't change them, sadly so yes, happy thoughts. i am surprised that a lot of seats were dirty. once in a while i find papers from candies in tram or bus and last time in a bus there was a banana on a seat. no wonder noone wanted to sit there. ghosh
