Well, the wait is on now until I hear from the mechanic. I trust them I was almost tempted to say I don't care what it costs..don't waste time on a phone call, just do it. but you never know. The only thing that could make it more expensive is if they find a leak in the brake or fuel line, and they have to weld or something. I want the car back though, so I might have to bring it back in for that depending on how bad it is. Always something to spend your money on....

Hope they don't find any additional repairs that need to be done and you get your car back quickly, Between cars and houses there's always something to deplete your wallet..

Oh for real. He just called a few minutes ago. They did not see any leaking fluids, and the brake pads look good. They added brake fluid which was low, which makes me think there is a leak because it wasn't that long ago it was added..but it doesn't sound like it is going to be that expensive anyway.

And as soon as you get a bit of a windfall in some way, some extra expense turns up for just about the same amount. I hope there are no nasty surprises.

I’ve been lucky with my vehicle. But I shouldn’t say that so as to not tempt fate.

Yes, you shouldn't. This one really hasnt given me problems. Brakes are one of those things that need periodic maintenance, as well as a few other things.

I hope there's no extra work required. Cars are definitely a money pit along with houses. Have a good day.
