Spending time I did not have

We have a local "garden shop" on a very small scale. He always has some nice looking plants. I bought 5 different herbs, plus some rose moss this evening. I know he is usually a little bit high, but they are always in good shape and I learn a lot from talking with him. I also do not have to spend gallons of gas to get there. I probably visited with him for well over an hour this evening. We had early release today for school. I knew from a Facebook Post that he had lemon basil. I had wanted that for years. I used to have it before I moved here. So I actually spent a lot of my time and energy doing that. Luckily I had homemade soup and sour dough toast for supper. We ate well.
