I got to stroke Katie the pussycat today!

Katie is the black pussycat who lives down the street on the corner where I cross over the road when I'm going to the little Tesco or to Church. She is not usually approachable, and usually runs off when you try and go near her.
After Church today I was walking home and as I approached Katie's house I wondered where the pussycat was. Then I saw Katie come out from under her owners car. She started coming up to me, and I thought, that's unusual. I said, Are you going to let me have a stroke today then, Katie? I managed a little stroke of her head, and then she turned to go back down her drive. I said, Oh, so that's it today then, yeah? OK. See you later then, Katie. And I crossed over the road to go home.
All of a sudden I heard this meowing sound, and I looked round and Katie was following me! She caught up with me and we walked a bit side by side! It was lovely. Then I had a proper stroke of her, from head to tail. She is very silky soft. Then I said, I'm going to have to go home now, Katie. I'll see you another day. And I went home.

Thank you very much. I loved stroking Katie. I could have stayed there all day, but I needed to get home. I'm glad you love cats and dogs. I'm sorry you can only see photos of your babies now.
