Good cloudy monday morning.

Today has been a bit of a different one. George has been fighting me to get what I need done. All he wants to do is sleep on the couch. Though he did stay in bed until closer to ten in the morning. I'm trying not to stress over it, because everyone has a bad day. But, I also know that if I let him be for a while, he should feel better too. Last night was one of those nights where he didn't crowl into bed until after three A.M. It's bound to catch up eventually. Then being stuck at home, isn't helping any. If I wasn't a homebody and used to being home all the time, then I'd probably feel the same as George. He goes to the doctor thuresday. So, that'll be fun. Well, Chilly is demanding breakfast. I'd better get to it.

I'm sorry to hear it has been a difficult day for you. Being cooped up is hard to deal with at times. I am in my room 24/7 and I do feel that way occasionally. Thursday might be a nice change.

We don't go out near as often, but George tends to feel better when we do.

@celticeagle He's spending most of his time outside. Getting him to come in for tube feedings is problemmatic.

For people used to being active it is hard to be stuck at home. I hope George will adjust to the situation at least he can go about and bask in the sun,

He's trying. He has one or two bad days. He agreed a lot of how he feels is due in large to being bored. You can only look at the same sky and stuff so long before it gets old.

That’s frustrating. You see how frustrating it is for him, does he see it is frustrating for you? I get that he’s the stroke survivor, but I’d be worried too.

I don't think he's self-aware all the time. Especially when he's having an off day. I'm just thankful the stroke didn't kill him outright.

I'm a homebody too. Glad I live alone, but that's just me.

I am happy to be married. I enjoy some alone time, sure, but it's good having my husband, too.

I think, all things considered, that he is doing very well. I'm a homebody too; but my husband gets cabin fever. He would not want to be cooped up at home. Good luck.

It's good that you try to let him find his own way...I remember you said he doesn't always like the tube feedings. I was impressed he is getting interested in food and asking for different things. Hopefully, one of these days you and George and Chilly can go on one of your staycations and enjoy yourselves a bit.
