Trump was found to have violated the gag order for the 10th time

He got nailed with another $1000 fine this morning for violating Judge Juan Merchan's gag order in the hush money case. The judge went one step further, however, and warned Trump that he is facing jail if he violates it again. At last week's hearing about the first set of violations Merchan lamented the fact that legally the maximum financial penalty allowed is $1000 per violation. He said that clearly is not a significant enough point to deter Trump's behavior. This second set of violations occurred before the judge ruled on the first set so he said that he could not incarcerate Trump before he gave him a final warning. He also said that he did not want to jail Trump but at the end of the day he had a job to do. Sooooo I'm sure his campaign has already fired off a dozen fundraising emails claiming how terrible it is that the judge wants to put him in jail. His fool supporters will happily send him money that they need much more than he does. Lather. Rinse. Repeat. I give him 24 hours before he violates the gag order again. Then the fun will begin.
