Happy Mother's Day to all the ladies out there with children or fur babies!
The US Department of Health & Human Services will spend approximately $200 million on bird flu biosecurity measures to reduce the spread of the virus. The virus has now jumped into cattle and dozens of herds in 9 states have been infected. Human infection is still rare but possible.
Breakfast - Protein bar
Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Lasagna, cauliflower, peas, garlic bread, peaches
Dessert/Snack - Blueberry muffin
Dinner - PB&J sandwich

Your meals sound good. My daughter made a special breakfast for Mother's day. It was vegetable sandwich with onion, tomato, tofu, cucumber and lettuce. And she made a wonderful mango shake. We couldn't have lunch. Now, she plans to make something special for dinner.

Here too, bird flu has been reported in few states in north. Only in few farms. Hope that it doesn't spread further.

@LindaOHio The bird flu is one of the states very far from here. And that too in a particular district. I hope that they are able to take actions and not let it spread out.
