Hello everyone. I hope your day is going well. It is 67 degrees F and cloudy here at the Jersey Shore. I miss the sunshine.
I'm done with in-person work for the day. I have an hour of tutoring this afternoon. I need to order some groceries. It is the usual Friday afternoon routine. Nothing new on the agenda.
When I got out to my car this afternoon I found a piece of paper on the windshield. I figured it was a note from a student who had been annoying me all day to enter an assignment into the grading system. I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was a note saying "Have a good weekend. --Holland" He is the sophomore son of a friend/coworker. I've been over their house a few times watching the kids so he's gotten to know me outside of school. I thought that was sweet of him. I texted his mom to tell her. She said it was all his idea. I replied "He is sweet. But tell him I will f***ing kill him if he brings me a kitten." (Her cat is pregnant)

I am currently working on completing surveys and sharing good news stories under a rainy afternoon with the temperature at 74 degrees Fahrenheit.

That was very sweet. Saw it on FB too. Today I don't have anything planned except to take all the staples out of a huge stack of 2016 tax paperwork and file all the 2024 insurance paperwork for my husband. Have a good weekend.

I am trying to get traffic to my website. I have not been very lucky. It is under 2 weeks and yet to get good traffic to my project management website. Hopefully, things will get better.
