Cancelled for today

Bob was on the way to the car today when I received the phone call that his appointment is cancelled for today.
Evidently they had storm damage last night.
School was supposed to still be in session there and it is cancelled as well.
I will call later and find out if he has an appointment tomorrow, and how bad the storm damage is.

The storm is past, Sunday night. This is Tuesday and the skies are nice right now.

I guess there was not damage to the building he goes to, other than an awning across the entrance. That is not to say that maybe the electrical had to get reset or something.

We live about a half hour from the town where his appointments are. We went today so I could do some shopping. Wal Mart was out of a lot of cold things. I bet they had to throw a lot of stuff out because they lost power.

I went with Bob for his appointment today. There are bent and twisted signs, trees damaged and down. I think an awning got blown off the front of the medical building. After his appointment we went to Arby's and ran into people we know from church. I commented that Wal Mart was out of a bunch of stuff and the lady said that was because they lost power. I bet they had to throw out tons of stuff.

He will have appointments Tuesday (today) through Friday. I doubt he will have one Monday, Memorial Day.

There are people in that town still without power. A friend says that a small tornado touched down in town.
