It Was Very Foggy in the Morning

I always take a drive down to City Park, for my first, morning cup of coffee. This is something that I've enjoyed, for many years. This puts me in gear, to face another day.
A couple days ago, the fog was really heavy in the air. I didn't worry about getting in a wreck, because everyone was driving with their head lights on, at a very low speed.
And parked at City Park, visibility of Lake Huron was almost impossible. I spent this time sipping on my fresh coffee, studying God's Word and in prayer. It's a beautiful time with the Lord, I wouldn't trade it for anything
This is where I discovered that God loves me, as a flawed woman I used to think I had to get all the wrinkles pressed out, first. Only then,, would the Lord accept me. Nope! This wasn't the truth

If I didn't meet with the Lord each morning, my day wouldn't turn out right. There's good therapy in praying to God and studying his Holy Word.

Driving wasn't too bad, but I still was driving at a much lesser speed. Spending time with God, it molds my day with more of HIM.

That's a lovely way to start a day. And so true that God accepts us with our flaws and loves us the way we are.

I start my day with a slow relaxed walk for fifteen minutes around my terrace garden. I enjoy all the blooms and talk to my plants.

What's really amazing, our weather hasn't been chilly. Instead, it has been quite humid with very comfortable temps.

I have always loved fog particularly where I spent my summers in the Catskill Mountains of NY State, It would be so thick and you would be walking on a country road as the fog slowly lifted and then the sun would come shining over the mountains, Always a lovely site,

A few times I didn't do this and my day seemed to flip flop, all over the place. Satan hates us to enjoy quiet time, with God!
