Specially made Egg Curries are famous in many places.
I don't consume Egg dishes but some of my friends do.
Some of these dishes are good with Paranthas (Fried Wheat dough bread)apart from Rice and Chapatis.

@sathviksouvik Exactly, I remember those eggs very well, my grandparents had a big farm and they grew chickens, hens and ducks.

wao rimps. Ostrich eggs are green in colour and very big. Are they eaten in your city? I have not seen them in the market in Calcutta

Duck eggs are not particularly popular here either. Most eggs sold are hen eggs.

Even hen eggs come in two kinds - poultry eggs and eggs from domestic hens. Domestic hens are richer in protein. However, we use poultry eggs for breakfast and curry as they are easier to get and lighter on health.

That's interesting! I didn't know that duck eggs are bigger than hen eggs in Bengal. It's fascinating how preferences for hen eggs prevail despite the size difference.
