This image does not even show a fourth of the number of campers, tents, pop ups, etc. that were parked across the road from me for this motorcycle race. Lots of outdoor family fun. Last night we watched the clouds moving in. According to some weather apps we were right in the middle of a severe thunderstorm. Winds predicted to be 75 m.p.h. Possible tornadoes. Rain and hail. And all of these campers with no place to go for safety if it happened. All that possible damage to equipment. All that potential injury to people. There is one church in town where people could have gone to the basement. Not that many people. I heard thunder before I went to bed, and I saw a little lightning. I am not sure who else was praying for safety for these folks, but they must have been powerful prayer warriors. We did not get a storm. Or even rain. We woke to a great day. I do not go to the races, but I have seen pictures and videos. I know they had an awesome time. Thankfully. Amen.
