I bought some artichokes on sale.

And remembered that I still had 2 in the fridge from last week.
So, immediatly, I put them to boil. And they turded out delicious. The one I ate was tender, maybe the best artichoke I´d had in years.
I had some mayo so I finished it.
Now I´m in bed trying not to fall asleep before they bring me the groceries.
I only want the chocolate cake. I´ll have a piece of it for dessert.
This time I had so many groceries that I mainly bought meat and a couple of yummy food plus bread.
Even Luna has enough food for some time.
I´ll have to be on the lookout for the groceries. My bell is not sounding again.

They took longer than usual, but the chocolate cake came. They did not have artichokes though.

Our housekeeper will be picking up my small order today. She brings it in and puts it all away for me. I am very fortunate. Have a good week.

I use cold water, salt and either half a lemon or a bit of vinegar. Today I added a half squeezed lemon.

I discovered that it is a good dessert. And nobody here nor my friends are overweight so I don´t feel that it is a guilty pleasure.

The one I ate yesterday was very tender. I much prefer to buy fresh ones than to buy hearts in jars.

I´d do the same. Groceries online are mostly acceptable. I only have trouble with some veggies but I learned to do without them after the pandemia.

I am never really sure what to do with artichokes so when I want some I order marinated artichoke hearts which I enjoy, Hope your grocery order was delivered properly and you got all you wanted,

I boil the whole artichoke. But they did not have artichokes after all. Fortunatly I had found 2 excellent artichokes in my fridge. I already ate one. I prefer fresh artichokes. They are a lot cheaper and you can eat it all.
