Hello everyone. I hope your day is going well. It is 75 degrees F and sunny here at the Jersey Shore. It is gorgeous out there!
I'm back at the apartment with the cat crew. Today wasn't awful at work for once. A student gave me an end-of-year gift with organic bath products which was very sweet. I emailed his mother to thank her for thinking of me. High school teachers don't usually get gifts the way elementary teachers and bus drivers do.
I have 2 hours of tutoring this afternoon. My neighbor just asked me if I wanted to go to the pool. I would much rather be doing that but the extra $$ is nice. Oh well. I'll be free in 10 more days.
What's everyone else up to this afternoon?

It’s nice outside here, too, but the last two nights have been rather cold, in the 40’s.
Do you have opportunities to do any summer tutoring? I have a teacher friend who tutors two days a week in June and July. She is paying off her car and wants to get it over with!

Temperature sounds fine for you.
Is it hot for you this time of the year or normal?
We are having record highs, only broken by a brief spell of dust storm and rain yesterday.
Work remains hectic to slightly under hectic at the workplace.
It is good to have such an admiration from a student.
I suppose they like you a lot !

The student must like you to give a gift like that. Sometimes; I am surprised like that from my friends. I am staying at home today to catch up on a few things around the house.
