And This is How My Day Started

Moving day and I was happy. Can't get out of that place (antique store) fast enough! I got hubby all settled with breakfast and fed all the animals and headed out the door a little before 11 am.
I'm driving down the road and my cell phone rings. I look at the caller ID. It's the owner of the antique store (LOL). I contemplated not answering the phone and then said oh shoot, I'll answer. She says, "This is xyz, at abc, I was just wondering if you were coming to the store today? You know you have to have everything out by end of the day." I said, "Yes, I told you yesterday I would have my things out by the first of the month. I'm actually on my way there now." Her: "Ok, see you soon."
It's amazing how they can't wait for me to get out. But didn't want to charge me for only 1/2 a month when I offered to be out before the 15th of the month. Grrr!
So I get there and walk in and guess who is there? Both the owner and Eagle Eye. Eagle Eye actually said HELLO. I said Hi and kept walking.
My husband came in his truck about an hour after I got there to load my bookshelf and my shelving. After we made several loads to the car he remarked, "Wow, they can't even look at us now when we walk by."
We had everything loaded up before 2 pm. No worries, paranoid lady! I can pack!

@1creekgirl I am out of that toxic environment now. I gave a 30 day notice at the beginning of May! Yay!!
Otherwise, I try to steer clear of drama. In the boutique where I have vendor space, all the ladies are like sisters, and we help each other out with various things. Same with the two owners. It's like a little family of women working together. Night and day between the two place.

@kareng As you well know, stress is so bad for Fibro. But how to reduce it when life is full of drama?

She’ll get a new tenant who’ll be charged more but will probably end up being a lousy renter. Hope you didn’t say “See ya! Wouldn’t want to be ya!” when you handed over the keys.

No keys, just old Evil Eye has a key. She must enjoy the turnover of vendors. Most would consider that a pain in the rear. Just while I was there the vendor next to me moved out, a new one in and she moved out and a new one just moved in that space again. He's been there 2 months now. Two spaces across from me left and have new people in them also.

@kareng — (shrugging) maybe she just likes cleaning the spaces she owns every three months.

@kareng AWESOME move on your part, sometimes we have to defeat the
odds in our lives to make what we want work, that's the best way to learn.
