Not a fan of Amazon right now

I made two orders on Amazon on the same day. The first one was for toilet paper and clear trash bags. The second one was three poetry books. I thought I’d get two shipments but no.
Toilet paper will come by itself. Then the clear trash bags will be shipped with two of the books. And the third book will come by itself. Why? It doesn’t make sense.
Everything already shipped except for the third book. How will it arrive by Thursday if it hasn’t shipped yet? It won’t be good if it doesn’t come by Thursday because I will be away Friday to Sunday and the package will end up being on the porch for days. Hope nothing happens to it.
I didn’t know they combine orders together when they ship. That’s a first for me. Maybe it’s because they were ordered on the same day.

Ama zon lie all other companies try to conbine orders when they can, it's their effort to waste less or whatever. If the third book hasn't shipped, it might be out of stock or something. some products do come from third-party resellers after all.

This one is sold by Amazon itself. And it is not out of stock. Unless this book wasn’t available at the warehouse where the other books and clear trash bags were shipped from.

It all depends on what warehouse it ships from. I hope you get your packages in time.

Seems like the third book has shipped and it says expected to arrive today. Let’s hope so.

Sometimes things come quicker than expected, which is awesome. But I hate it when things are shipped separately.

When Amazon can, it SHOULD combine orders. It saves them money and ultimately saves us money too. Granted, sometimes things aren't coming from the same distribution center, so it's not practical. But when it is, they should do it so long as it doesn't add too much extra time to the delivery of things.
