A tragic story about a loose monkey in South Carolina

I normally try to share good news stories on this site since my readers like to read them.
However an update of a story of a monkey that escaped from his owner's home in Walterboro South Carolina when one source mentioned that the monkey named Bradley who was 15 years of age and a Japanese Macaque male who escaped from his home on Monday of late last month and was shot by a homeowner on Wednesday when the monkey attempted to harm a dog that belonged to the owner.
Officials with the Colleton County Animal Services admitted that it was hard for them to capture the monkey due to many residents getting in the way.

That's sad but monkeys can be very dangerous. I'm sorry it ended this way.

I thought that the monkey would be reunited with his owner until I looked up the story on social media.

I have heard a lot of awful stories about domesticated monkeys. They can be very aggressive and horrible.

That is very sad news indeed and sorry for the monkey but if he was harming the dog then the owner had no choice
