Today did not turn out as planned.

Jane did not feel well enough to get out, so Bob and I went car shopping. The van we have been driving was okay, but has issues. I got it as a stop gap measure when I hit a deer with a car. It has started overheating, and loses oil somewhere. It is not very cool even with the air conditioning. For the time being we will keep it, but this summer we have certainly put the miles on it with all of Bob's appointments. We have bought an older Mazda Protege, with much fewer miles and good air conditioning. It needs an oil change, which Bob will do. Now I feel like we may make some road trips, safely. I had been spending a lot of time looking at Facebook Marketplace for cars. Bob has his last hyperbaric treatment this week. And a Urology appointment, and a nephrology appointment, and an ear, nose and throat appointment. I will feel better about him driving everywhere in this better car. It also means I will not have to go in to work early so he can take the van and stay late until he gets back. I think that will give me a much better attitude all around. Now I need to think about what we will eat.I think a watermelon smoothie plus a ham sandwich. Just keeping it simple. I made muffins this morning, banana. I added in a container of raspberries that I got in the reduced section. Bob likes them a lot and they are pretty healthy.
