Recently, I've been preoccupied with a new opportunity that came our way. My mother and I have long considered investing in a piece of land to construct an apartment building. This would not only supplement my income from teaching but also provide additional revenue through rental income.
On June 11, my uncle visited us with news of a suitable lot available for sale. Excited about the prospect, we immediately delved into the details. However, amidst our preparations, my mother fell ill. She experienced difficulty with bowel movements, leading to three days of discomfort and weakness, especially with her appetite. When she had difficulty moving, she remained in bed, so I took on the responsibilities of shopping, cooking, and cleaning the house. Despite this setback, we persevered, and fortunately, her condition improved just in time for us to finalize the land purchase.
Have you ever faced unexpected challenges while pursuing a goal, and how did you overcome them?

With what happened to your mother right at the time you looked at the investment, I would wonder if it was God's will to buy the property or look for another. Did you pray about what you planned to do before you finalized the land purchase?
When things happen contrary to what I want, I always pray for God's leading.
