Sort of missing, or missing out

Today and the previous two have been an avalanche of busy-ness. Lots of doctor and medical things and prescriptions and doing car things. This was the last day of summer school, so hopefully I will do better. Bob has ear drops for his ears again. Just one ear. And we had to call our primary care to refill his main heart med, because he is out of prescriptions and his doctor has not responded. He was completely out of the medication. When we got notice that the prescriptions were ready we hopped in the car and went to Newton. We picked up a few things and were headed for a checkout and I heard someone say to a child "Don't run over those people." I looked and it was my great niece and her daughter just picking up a few things. So we got hugs and chit chat while we checked out. Rosie will be going to first grade and is quite a talker, but as her mom's things were checked out, she stepped over and bagged it all and put it in the cart. Such a good helper. It was funny to watch Rosie struggle with a five pound bag of potatoes, but she managed. We have eaten, and I have put leftovers away. I napped early this afternoon, but I am ready to sleep some more. It is hot, and humid, and harvest is underway. In one week we will be leaving on a vacation.
