6/21/24 - Meals

It is a very hot day, but we arrived to go out and walk, a little exercise is good for both of us.

Yay! I’m so glad you’re getting to go! Yesterday, I had two hamburger patties grilled to perfection (thank you to my dad who took pity on a girl with a sinus headache), two apples, and some pistachios.

Strawberry salad sounds awesome. I have been making a salad that has strawberries, walnuts and feta cheese..good stuff! Yesterday, I had a Chicken Caesar salad for dinner

Chicken and cheese stuffed baked potato for lunch. Watermelon, chicken soup, and homemade pineapple whip for dinner.

All kinds of variations like tater tots and a pork sausage patty with BBQ sauce and cheese,

It was Friday, so we decided, "Why not some fish?" It's a far cry from our old Friday night fish fries (the real kind) that we used to enjoy in Wisconsin. But it still did the trick, nonetheless. We cooked up some crispy, fried Gorton's fish filets and we had tater tots and buttered mixed vegetables on the side. Haven't had tater tots in a while, and so they were actually better than expected, dipped in a little bit of ketchup. Yummy stuff.
