Billu's babies

Billu still has her belly pretty full. It could the food she is eating as I see her coming to the bowl often today. I am not sure cats can delay delivery as she got these two last night
She seems comfortable having her babies on that velvet mat that is below our wash basin I have kept the box ready too with another mat placed inside it.
I know who their father is going by the colour of their fur (lol)

It's amazing how animals instinctively know how to care for their young. Enjoy watching them grow and develop!

There have been mishaps in the past when the mother fell ill and could not care for the babies. Keeping my fingers crossed.

@LadyDuck Todoay for a while she forgot she has her babies. She came to me as usual moewing and sat with me on the computer. I just ignored her. She then got down and ran towards her babies (lol)

Billu is being smart in eating often, soon enough she will be needed by her babies and her breaks will be a bit less frequent. She is eating to keep up her milk supply and also her own energy. It will be interesting to see if she has more kittens later on in the day, anything is possible. Sometimes additional deliveries are delayed so that Mama can get some rest between babies. I'm sure we'll all be waiting for any news.

I love the markings on the calico. I have had cats take a break for a few hours then have more. As she is eating I wouldn't worry about her. But don't be surprised if you get another one or not
