The royal bengal tigers are mostly present in the tidals forests of sunderbans in Bengal. It remains hot and humid all over the year. The tigers have their adaptability to sustain such a weather. They even can stay in open land in the afternoon when it is hot.

Yes they have a high adaptability.
However, in some places, changing ecosystem and Habitat loss has its impact.
I read an article about some tigers getting darker stripes than normal.

yes Prikhaji number of tigers all over the world has also decreased. They have to be alive to retain the biosphere
