Elizabeth Francis who celebrated her 114th birthday in May. Elizabeth who currently residing in Houston Texas credits her faith in God and obeying His commandments to treat people the way she would like to be treated. According to the World Economic Forum, there are only a few persons who are older than 110 years of age living today. Ethel Harrison who is 68 years of age and is the granddaughter of Elizabeth says that her grandmother has lived a long live due to being active and helping others. Link is msn.com.en-us/news-us/...

Congratulations to her. I am glad she credits her long life to God. It must be awesome to have a 68 year old granddaughter. I know that I would not get this far in life without God watching out for me.

It is very hard to know why some people live so long, and others don't, and I think sometimes, it is just the luck of the draw. Good genes, good food, able to handle stress well, and perhaps, as she said, a strong faith might help too.
