Chill Out From the Summer Heat

Everyone is saying the heat of summer is upon us. For those of you who like to travel or live close by, there is a way to chill out. As of July 7 SeaWorld in Orlando, Florida is opening an exciting new roller coaster ride called Penguin Trek.
Those of you who love coasters or are adventurous can think about trying it out. Now, I am not friends with roller coasters because I am afraid of heights but I would certainly love to take a look at the Antarctic-like habitat and meet all the penguins.
The Penguin Trek offers riders a ride through an Antarctic-like environment with plenty of twists and turns. The ride takes everyone to the penguin habitat which resembles what their habitat looks like in the Antarctic. With a look at all the snow and ice all about you can certainly feel a lot cooler. You can see Antarctic structures looking like large ice caps and enjoy food stops like South Pole Sips and Expeditions Café.

I'm concerned that all the noise and vibration will disturb the penguins.

Oh that sounds nice about now! Today is not humid though. It feels much better. It is supposed to go down to 60 tonight. That is lovely..won't last though of course

@noni1959 sure you can sit at the Antarctic habitat watch the penguins and the people coming in on the roller coaster

@RasmaSandra The closes amusement park is around 120 miles east of Lake Charles which is in Baton Rouge or in east Texas.

That sounds like a cool experience, even for those who might not be big fans of roller coasters! The Antarctic-like habitat and the chance to see penguins up close would make for a unique and refreshing adventure.
