Jay Wants to Visit Christian's Family

Christian's Birthday is July 1st and Jay said he wants to pay them a visit. My daughter gave us a standing invitation, to come any time we can get away. They love family time, at home:)
The 4th of July is a terrible weekend for traffic. So we will more than likely leave home on the 1st and then, drive back on the same day. The weekend traffic won't be heavy yet.
I already sent his gift in the mail, so that is taken care of. I had no idea that Jay would want to go visit their family.
The last time we saw them was on Christmas Day, 2023. We do owe them a visit!

Not sure what that means or supposed to, but sounds necessary and good. Never anything wrong with that. Misunderstandings are 95 percent of the problem in this world.

We might visit Christian for his Birthday, July 1st. We won't stay over the 4th, because of heavy traffic.

I think that it is wonderful that you will gather together to celebrate his birthday, and enjoy the holiday a few days early. To me it does not really matter if you celebrate a few days earlier as long as you are with those that you love, and you will be there with them.

Jay is retired, he has been for almost three years. It's a three hour drive.
