Billu and her kittens / myLot

This is the first time I get to see how a mother cat takes care of her kittens It is indeed hard work She cleans them off and on. Spends most of her time with them as they sleep most of the time It is the ninth day today The kittens are just about crawling. It will take weeks for them to actually start moving around and until then Billu will be with them spending time - a pretty boring activity. All what I can say is it is not easy for the mother cat to take care of her kittens until they are on solid food - that will be atleast 8 weeks.

The two kittens are growing up very well. Billu is a good lovely mother for them.

And will you be taking care of Billu or her kittens when she wanders off and leaves them loitering around your home? Funny how we posted almost at the same time, Your's about a cat and mine about a dog.

We have had cats and dogs in plenty. Now we have just two cats Peppie her brother and Billu. It is a handful when kittens appear. I will go to your post.
