Guess What is Happening Yet Again

Today we were awakened by a note being dropped inside our door. Housing is holding another inspection. This time we have one day to prepare. Tomorrow and Wednesday(3rd and 4th) the maintenance will be here to inspect all appliances, outlets, plumping, smoke detectors, doors, and windows, and make the necessary repairs. They are also checking the water heater for any repairs. Now they have already done all of that. Last year they finally got the electrical done that we have been reporting for years. They used to check the smoke detectors each year. Back last month they were supposed to come and fix a light which never happened. This notice doesn't speak to that at all. I am so very tired of it all. So now our day will be screwed up due to them coming at any time between 8a. and 4p when we haven't been getting up until around noon due to it being too hot to sleep until 3a. or 4a. in the mornings. It is supposed to be 96 next Tuesday. I will be so glad when Halloween comes around again.

This month will also be when all necessary inspections happen here. I'm okay with that because the owners need to protect their investment, and they get mine done early because I am in one of the first units in the building.

Sounds like a positive situation for you. That's great! I have anxiety and each year when it comes time for inspections I get very anxiety-ridden. It's a long story.

@Chellezhere ........My daughter doesn't keep the cleanest place so we have to get after it before our inspections. We always pass but it is just nerve-wracking for me.

@celticeagle We used to only have them once a year, but they blanketed all their properties and started inspecting quarterly because of a few living in their other properties. And I keep a clean place as it is, so I have nothing to worry about.

We have an A/C in my bedroom and one downstairs. I just don't run it 24/7. I run it for a little while when it gets over poweringly hot in here.
