Thanks to the teamwork of the Virginia State Police (VSP) and a sergeant from the Henrico County Sheriff's Office teamed up to round up two donkeys who were on a road in Henrico County over the weekend.
Members of the Peer/Critical Incident Stress Management team found the two donkeys on the road.
The two donkeys after they were caught by the authorities were returned back to their owner safe and sound the same day which was on Monday June 24.
How did the two donkeys leave their home is not known at this time.

Perhaps their owner was a bit of a donkey himself, and never penned them properly.
It is good that they were removed from the road before an accident occurred though.
