Thursday Morning Brief - Happy Fourth of July

Good morning from sunny Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. Happy Fourth of July to everyone celebrating today. The current temperature is 73 F. It's going to be a warm one today with a high reaching 84 F.
Today is a holiday, in case you haven't figured that out. So, I'm going to do what people do on holidays. Eat. Enjoy the day. Watch Yankee Doodle Dandy. And generally relax. I will also prepare the food I plan to eat today. I bought a pound of hamburger yesterday so I'm making that Cheeseburger Salad, @snowy mentioned not too long ago. I'm also making a red, white, and blue salad with strawberries, blueberries, and apples. I already had my banana for breakfast.
Of course, I will also play my game and work on a book. I also plan to get a walk in this morning before it gets much hotter out there.
I'm listening to patriotic music on Alexa. If you have Alexa, ask her to play America the Beautiful. It's worth it.

84 F sounds quite high.
I hope that it is not very humid.
Greetings on the American Independence Day.
I hope that US gets back on track to fulfill the ideals of Thomas Jefferson and others.
Many American values of Freedom and Democracy have inspired people elsewhere..
Yet things are so different now.
Still an Independence day means so much.
I hope you enjoyed the food fare.
We have had client visitors from Denmark.
The interesting part is that the face of the lady somehow reminded me of you !!
I cannot share her picture here due to official reasons but the resemblance is striking!

Good to know about the food.
While it is not ethical for me to comment on her looks, she is close to 60 and very fit and articulate, with some humor thrown in at times!
I have learnt that Danish people remain healthy and fit physically even at 60 plus age.
However, they seem to be affected more by Mental health issues.
May be due to a lack of sunlight and lesser sunlight hours during the winters.
