I was a teenager during the mid 1970's I saw a group on Facebook that was memories of that time. One of the posts asked if anyone wanted to go back to that time. For a lot of reasons I am thinking yes! I enjoyed music and live tv from that era then. The friendliness, feelings and thinking of people and most of our government then. People, the government and businesses used to be more polite and respectful to peoples needs! The most thing I could say was the economy! I remember going to The Gap inside the mall and buying a pair of blue jeans, Levi's , that was a big name brand then for $10 from saving up my babysitting money. Things were still made better! Cars were metal, not plastic and computerized. Buy clothes and you didn't have to go out and buy new ones a few months later because the seams were coming out or holes in the material. If I went back to the 1970's era now I would miss certain things and people such as my kids and grand children that weren't born yet. Some newer music and movie's that I like as well as some medical break throughs that have come about since then. What would you miss or want? Would you go back to the 1970's?

Being that I am going to be 73 in November I think that going back to a time when I was in my 20's would be great. I loved the music, people then and all so many other things.

The 1970´s was a great decade for me. I was raising my childen with my darling husband who then had no health problems. We were young and full of energy. And I believed in future. At least up to 1073 when there was a coup in my country.

The late 60s and then into the 70s were great years. We really did grow up in the best of times.

I would start out in the 60s. The 70s would be great because I was married in 1970; and I could enjoy being young and with my husband all over again. Have a good week.
