People used to be more nicer and more respectful then too. I remember teenagers would go to their senior neighbors, cut grass, rake leaves, shovel snow, carry groceries in, walk their dog, bring the newspaper to the porch to and from the curb, take the trash and not expect a thing for it! A lot of that has changed because of some dumb laws and rules. For instance around here and some other places the can has to be set on the curb in a specific direction and place! To make it easier for the trash collector that get's paid senior citizen or disable person that can barely get out the door more or less take the trash to the curb and put it exactly where they want it! And you are not allowed to go into another person's yard without their permission.... heck you even have to have it in writing for some things. In some states even if you lose your balance and step in someone's yard they have the right to shoot you! Sometimes if you are an individual now and you fall, get hurt while on someone else's property some of those people have been taught that it's best to suit these people. I guess it depends on where you are at...... children cannot have lemonade stands unless their parents have a food liscense and are present. The parents can also be arrested for child labor! For instance around here and some other places. Do you see any things that are different in your society now?

I see a lot of change, yes. I also see kids growing up faster and catching on to life much quicker. I think it's a sign of the times.

@dfollin Thank God!! I was very concern. I assume it is all about protecting their own properties and respecting each other privacy.

Times like you're mentioning here have long gone out the door but it's a great shame. It isn't quite so bad here yet but it's probably only a matter of time.
