A female who lives in a home in Nashville Tennessee alerted the Nashville Fire Department (NFD) on Monday overnight when she smelled smoke While the female resident was able to get out of her home safely, her pet cat needed to be rescued by the firefighters who were successful in getting the cat away from being harmed in the fire safely. The firefighters determined that the fire started in the laundry room which caused damage to the back of the home and other areas of the home. It is hard to determine if the house suffered damages to be declared a total loss. The silver lining is that no one was injured in the fire. Link is msn.com/en-us/news/us/...

I don´t much like the mixture of wooden houses and electricity. I´m glad the cat was saved.

It is good that lives were saved here, but the loss of one's house is still very devasting to all those affected by it.
