The Woodstock Farm Sanctuary did share some good news that a sheep who goes by the name Waldo after the children's book character since the sheep who was mistaken for a goat managed to elude being slaughtered while the sheep was in the streets of Washingtonville New York for weeks. A Facebook group called Sheep Watch 24 to report the sightings of Waldo who was then lured into a local family who had a fenced in yard where Waldo has found his new home where he can live out the rest of his day. Good news for the sheep, now in a safe environment, and no longer in danger of being killed.
