For some reason I had missed watching the movie "Emma".

I have loved every movie based on Jane Austen´s books but one. But I had not watched Emma and today I found it at Netflix. So here I am, ready to see it. I know by heart Jane Austen´s books. I have reread them several times. So when there is a movie based in one of her books I must watch it. So now I must say good night, friends. Sleep tight. See you tomorrow. I´m off to a night of movies.

I love Jane Austen's books. I love reading Emma and how I get frustrated with her besides I remember reading Weathering Heights... Thanks to all my batch mate who were majoring English back then

I own a great part of my vocabulary in English to my readings. I started with Jane Eyre and proceeded to all of Jane Austen thanks to my sister who was then living in England and sent them all to me.

@LadyDuck I always watch online the part of Casablanca where the Marsellaise is shown on this day. And I always cry there too.

I loved that movie. But still, I prefer Jane Austen´s books to the movies. They are so full of tiny exquisite things.

@marguicha The books are always better than the movies. As today is July 14th and it's Bastille's Day in France I think I will (re) watch Casablanca to enjoy the Marseillaise.

I hope you enjoyed Emma. Did that have Gwyneth Paltrow in it? Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

She was there. But I preferred the actress in Shakespeare in love. I´m now about to climb to my second floor to get the book to read it again.

Today I will see if I can get Emma online at the Gutenberg project. If they don´t have it, I´ll have to climb to my second floor and bring it to my room.
